I love the title of this one! And the theme. I’ve done the north east skinny dip 2 years in a row now, the 3rd next month. The first time o wondered wth I had signed up for stripping naked in front of 1,000 people. Last year I was tossing clothes all over. What it does for body image is so important. To get in the sea with human beings of all shapes and sizes, no airbrushing, embracing curves and wobble, dimply skin being the normal tone that it is. It’s the most liberating and freeing experience. The other day I caught myself admiring the crinkles in my eyes and feeling proud of the lines. A shift I hope we all get to experience some day.
yes absolutely, such an important shift. I love how you changed between one year and the next!! I'm exactly the same - clothes all over the place. It really is the most marvellous feeling in so many ways... xx
