Awww Emma! This gives me all the warm & cozy family feels that are so needed right now!! Thank you! The “F it!” On days when my tween daughter needs those moments away from daily anxiety is all so familiar and true. Thank you for reflecting on togetherness rather than the externally pervasive end of the year “lists”. Lovely & HNY!
Ah thank you so much, I'm so glad you liked it! Yep the tween anxiety - it's a long old process. My eldest is nearly 18 and we're not through it yet... although I wish they had less pain, I find it does give them a beautiful sensitivity and depth in the way they look at the world. Happy New Year to you too! xx
Amazing read. I’m feeling the pressure to write my own which has only come from seeing others share theirs. Been trying to lean in to the fact that mine come early in the new year and this doesn’t mean I’m late or behind 😆 the words flow when the words flow 🌀
Let the pressure go. I actually considered delaying mine as so much stuff will get lost today amidst all the other noise. Next month, the month after, whenever the words flow is perfect. Keep being kind to you my friend 💕
Shit head is absolutely our go to card game as a family!
It’s the best!!!
What a beautiful rumination on togetherness, separateness and love, Emma. I enjoyed every word. x
Thank you so much, and what a beautiful and humbling way of describing it. 💕🙏
Happy New Year Emma! I’m so grateful to have connected with you in 2023 and looking forward to more in 2024 xx
Happy New Year to you too!! Can’t wait to see what unfolds. Much love xx
