Gosh I felt like I was there with you Emma! Wow what a glorious experience and youā€™ve given me lots of wellness ideas... I wonder whether itā€™s an all or nothing thing. I could have a ginger shot and my coffee? šŸ‘€āœØšŸ˜³šŸ¤©

I really enjoyed reading that Emma, thank you. I probably wouldn't go on a juice retreat myself because I would definitely get grumpy about the lack of food, (I'm with you re: salted tomatoes and ready salted crisps) but am so drawn to your descriptions of the mountains, and the space, and the yoga, your friendship and the sunsets. Oh and the massages.

Perhaps, contrary to what our 'constant improvement' culture tells us, it doesn't matter whether or not we incorporate these habits into our daily lives when we return home from a holiday or retreat or training course (well, depends on the course), it's enough that we experienced them, and enjoyed them while we were away.

Oh I love retreats. To celebrate my 50th last year I treated myself to two, one in Gold Coast, Australia and the other on the Greek island of Paros. Now you've got me wanting to do a juice fast in Turkey šŸ˜ƒā¤ļø
